Students from Sixth Year were interviewed about the importance of sitting the FCE exam. The following were their answers:

In my opinion, it is very important to sit the FCE if you have the possibility because it is a well recognized international exam that will open doors for you in the future. What is more, if you want to get a job even in Argentina, an FCE certificate is often required. I also believe that passing this exam will give you a lot of confidence, so that if in the future you travel to an English speaking country, you will be able to relate with other people without problems.

Why should we take the FCE? Is it something really important? These questions are very common among us, Why? What for?. The FCE is considered a very important exam, not only by our teachers, but also by our parents. The thing is that we have to discover the real meaning, the real objective for taking it. The FCE is more than a common exam; it represents a big challenge, something that we should do in order to go further, something that can prove we have been studying for something, not just for a mark, for our own development, our own good.
